A constellation of my self

There is no wrong way to do this. Draw the lines, or don't. Add stars that aren't here, cross out ones that are, use the margins, tear it in half. Helen Edgar's own map holds twenty constellations and she says plainly that yours may hold none of them — “a universe of infinite possible configurations of ways of Autistic being.” Name what you drew on the back.
A name and a line or two for each thing you drew. Ten rows is not a target. Helen used twenty; you might use four, or one you haven't finished naming, or forty across three of these sheets. The number is not the point — it is just what fits on a page.
After Helen Edgar. The idea, the form and the invitation are hers, from My Monotropic Galaxy: A Constellation of My Autistic Self (Autistic Realms / More Realms, June 2026), rehoused here as Field Guide No. 12 with her permission. Her chapter on it is forthcoming in UNIQUE, a book inviting neurodivergent contributors to map themselves, which was open for contributions at the time of her essay — “No artistic skill is needed. No particular way of writing.” This sheet is ours; any fault in it is ours. starstuff.earth/constellation-sheet
