Small typo passes and styling tweaks are left out; anything that changes what a piece *claims* is in. Why publish our corrections We braid real science with ideas credited to named thinkers, so the facts and the attributions have to be right. We're human, and we've gotten things wrong — a paraphrase dressed as a Sagan quote, a Martin Luther King Jr. line credited to Baldwin, a forest-wide fungal network asserted as settled fact because it rhymed so well with mutual aid. Naming those in public is part of the method, not an embarrassment to bury. It isn't hers — she takes it from **Karen Barad**'s relational ontology (*Meeting the Universe Halfway*, 2007, on *intra-action*). Corrected in the zine, its colophon, and its card on the front page. 2026 · July 26 ## Zine No. 29 — Only in Relation New piece[Only in Relation](https://starstuff.earth/only-in-relation-zine.html) Relational quantum physics as an argument about selves: a particle's properties are not held privately but exist in relation, and neither are ours. Developed *after* Helen Edgar's essay *We Are Made of Relations: Quantum Physics and What It Means to Be Autistic* (More Realms, 2026) — a house adaptation into the paged-zine form, credited as such. Rovelli's relational interpretation is flagged in-zine as one reading, not settled physics. 2026 · July 24 ## Wyrd & Weird, and a capital A New piece[Zine No. 28 — Wyrd & Weird](https://starstuff.earth/wyrd-and-weird-zine.html) A guest zine by **Helen Edgar** (Autistic Realms), rehoused in the house paged-zine style with her text and her own sources note preserved: *wyrd* from Old English *weorþan*, “to become” — fate as something still in the making, and the long road from the Norns through Holinshed to *Macbeth*'s Weird Sisters. A “threads already running” spread was added the same day, bringing it to nine. SiteAutistic capitalized as an identity term, repo-wide *Autistic* now carries its capital A everywhere it names an identity — across thirteen pages, in headings, body, colophons, and card and social descriptions. Left lowercase: *autism*, URLs, anchors, and verbatim work titles. Recorded as house style so it stays that way. Revised[Every Nervous System](https://starstuff.earth/every-nervous-system-zine.html) “Change the room” became “change the environment” — the claim is about every setting, not only the ones with walls. 2026 · July 23 ## More-than-human neurodiversity New piece[Zine No. 27 — Every Nervous System](https://starstuff.earth/every-nervous-system-zine.html) Neurodiversity extended past our own species, and animality reclaimed rather than fled. Built on Ombre Tarragnat's published essays on *ethodiversity* and *bestialisation*, with thesis-level claims marked explicitly as their stated position rather than settled consensus. New piece[Field Guide No. 6 — A Field Guide to Symbioses](https://starstuff.earth/symbioses-field-guide.html) Twelve partnerships: mutual aid written into biology, from Kropotkin through Margulis to Spade. **Helen Edgar**'s fact-check was applied on arrival, and *Monotropa uniflora* added as the honest asymmetrical case — the one that takes without repaying, and belongs anyway. Fact-checkA written standard and a public ledger Fact-checking stopped being a habit and became a rule: primary sources only; aggregators, quote sites, encyclopedias and search summaries are leads, never citations; a direct quote is never a dressed-up paraphrase; coinages get their originator precisely. Every piece now carries a status — *verified*, *plausible*, *corrected*, or *removed* — in a per-piece ledger, and a standing [Sources & corrections](https://starstuff.earth/about.html#sources) note went onto the front page and the About page. Not a beta banner that comes down; a permanent invitation. The first pass found two attribution errors, both corrected: in [Shared Air](https://starstuff.earth/shared-air-zine.html), “a future with a human face and dirt behind its ears” is **Adam Flynn**, *Solarpunk: Notes toward a manifesto* (2014), and “move quietly and plant things” is a movement slogan (Andrew Dana Hudson), not the manifesto; in [Shared Signal](https://starstuff.earth/shared-signal-zine.html), Streuber et al. (2026) found remote synchrony in VR **comparable to** face-to-face — we had written “weaker over video.” Fact-checkSymbioses — a line given back to Dr. King “We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality” shipped credited to **Baldwin**. It is **Martin Luther King Jr.**, *Letter from Birmingham Jail* (1963). The error came from trusting a secondary summary; Helen Edgar's fact-check caught it.
